Skal was set up in June 2016 by drinks marketing specialist Tom Gamborg.

Having previously worked on Black Cow, Opihr Gin, Crown Royal Whisky, Ciroc Vodka and Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Tom spotted a gap in the market.

Claire founded Brand Aid Limited after 30 years in senior roles in marketing and general management across a range of food and drinks businesses. At IDV/Grandmet (now Diageo) she worked across alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks categories before becoming European Marketing Director for Häagen-Dazs.

She now advises smaller companies on branding, marketing and business development to help them grow profitably. 

Claire is a Fellow of the Marketing Society and a fluent French speaker.
